My Work

My name is Braidy Caina, I’m an artist and author.

We live in a world of breathtaking wonder, yet one fractured by profound shadows and discord. As an artist, I have always looked for ways to navigate this tension. For me, „The Chronicles of Saifear“ emerged as that guiding light – a visual and narrative mirror through which I could cope with a world full of delights, yet heavy with suffering.

My journey into worldbuilding didn’t start with textbooks or rigid guides. Like many creators, I initially tried to force my ideas into mundane, clinical questionnaires about politics and economics, only to find they led me nowhere. I quickly realized that my true compass isn’t spreadsheets – it is emotion, mood, and atmosphere.

I don’t pre-engineer every detail of my worlds from the start; I believe the best secrets are discovered along the journey. My art focuses on the raw feeling, the heavy vibes, and the lived-in stories of vast, uncharted realms.
