Art in the dark
In the beginning, there was only this abstract feeling – this impression, this driving force where I would pick up objects, places, or names and could confidently say, ‚This belongs in Saifear or Espenhein,‘ never actually knowing why. It was all entirely subconscious. A vague, abstract impression of a whole world opening up before me. I started by writing down a list of scenes that felt essential to the story that kept unfolding. Since then, I keep drawing scenes, places, and people belonging to these worlds, and day by day, night after night, they tell me their stories in my dreams.
